This advanced material is used primarily in the manufacture of end mills, broaches, and other tools used to shape difficult-to-machine materials under conditions of high frictional heating. Its sophisticated alloy composition can only be achieved through the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, which also ensures a homogenous microstructure with a finer, more uniform carbide distribution. Like all Mule Team blades, this one is sold consumer direct only and is furnished without handle scales or a blade sheath.
