The Ladybug is the smallest lock-blade folding knife in Spyderco's regular product line and has long been one of our most popular models. Although small enough to fit on a keychain, it offers serious cutting capability that far exceeds its diminutive size. 

The defining feature of this unique expression of the Ladybug 3 is its handle, which is injection molded using glow-in-the-dark fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). The tough, lightweight FRN material is enhanced with phosphor, which becomes energized when exposed to light and can then radiate its own visible light in the dark. Like all Ladybug 3 handles, this one features Spyderco's signature Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern to ensure a solid, non-slip grip and a generously sized lanyard hole. It also houses the knife's sturdy back lock mechanism that locks the blade securely open when in use.

Crafted from VG-10 stainless steel, the PlainEdge™ blade of this Ladybug 3 is hollow ground for exceptional edge geometry and low-friction cutting performance. It also features Spyderco's Trademark Round Hole™, which offers easy, fingernail-free opening.
