The first defining feature of this elite knife is its hollow-ground PlainEdge™ blade, which is precision machined from Crucible® Industries' CPM® 20CV. CPM 20CV is an advanced powder metallurgy stainless steel that contains a high volume of vanadium carbides and the highest amount of chromium of any vanadium-rich stainless steel currently available. This potent combination of elements gives it a remarkable combination of high wear resistance, superior corrosion resistance, good impact toughness, and excellent polishability. These properties are further enhanced by Crucible's state-of-the-art powder metallurgy process, which ensures a very fine grain size and uniform distribution of the alloys throughout the steel. 

Another distinctive aspect of this Exclusive Yojimbo 2 is its handle, which showcases tan G-10 scales. The precision-machined scales have a peel-ply texture to ensure a non-slip grip. They also house nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners that are the basis of the knife's patented Compression Lock® mechanism. To complement the satin-finished blade, the knife's four-position pocket clip and all other handle hardware also have satin or polished finishes.
