This advanced alloy was specifically developed for applications requiring a superior combination of strength, wear resistance, and toughness. These qualities are further enhanced by Crucible® Industries' particle metallurgy manufacturing process, which ensures a uniform distribution of the steel's alloys and a fine, homogenous microstructure. 

This knife's PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground for an optimal balance of strength, edge geometry, and point utility. Its fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ provides leverage for swift, one-handed opening with either hand, while a durable black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating eliminates the blade's reflective properties and helps protect it from corrosion.

The other defining feature of this distinctive knife is its vibrant red handle. It is built on a framework of sturdy stainless steel liners nested within CNC-machined, textured red G-10 scales. This advanced construction ensures excellent structural strength while keeping the knife slim and lightweight. It also provides support for the knife's patented Compression Lock® mechanism—a high-strength, extremely user-friendly lock that allows safe and easy one-handed operation. The handle includes a four-position clip that supports right or left-side, tip-up or tip-down carry and a lined lanyard hole that allows the easy attachment of fobs or lanyards. To match the blade's stealthy DLC coating, the clip and all other handle hardware also have durable black finishes.
