The blade of this elite knife is crafted from CPM® M4, a special purpose high speed tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. CPM M4's sophisticated alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness. To enhance its aesthetics and help protect it from corrosion, the blade is also cloaked in a durable Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

Equally unique, this knife's handle showcases "fat" carbon fiber scales in a red "lava flow" pattern. This unidirectional carbon fiber/epoxy composite is hand crafted and includes special ceramic additives. When machined to shape, it reveals the stunning complexity of its layered construction. To complement the DLC-coated blade, all the handle hardware also sports durable black coatings.
