This state-of-the-art powder metallurgy stainless steel is enriched with a high vanadium content to promote the formation of hard vanadium carbides instead of chromium carbides. Its unique alloy mix enhances the steel's wear resistance while allowing the free chromium to provide superior corrosion resistance. The PlainEdge™ blade of this knife is also full-flat ground for exceptional edge geometry and features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening.

The knife's handle is injection molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) in MGE's signature teal color. Its Bi-Directional Texturing™ ensures a non-slip grip and the stout back lock mechanism locks the blade securely open when in use.
