This knife's PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground for a superior balance of strength, edge geometry, and point utility. Its fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ provides leverage for swift, one-handed opening with either hand, while a durable black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating eliminates the blade's reflective properties and helps protect it from corrosion.

Injection-molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), the lightweight handle has Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure, non-slip grip and houses the knife's highly refined back lock mechanism, which locks the blade securely open when in use. The handle also includes four sets of threaded inserts to support a four-position pocket clip, allowing a choice of left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
