The blade of this elite knife is crafted from CTS® XHP steel—an air-hardening, high-carbon, high-chromium alloy that is best described as a high-hardness 440C stainless steel or a corrosion-resistant D2 tool steel. As a blade material, it offers superior edge retention and surface finish, can be sharpened to a very fine edge, and is extremely corrosion resistant. To make this knife even more unique, the blade is also cloaked in a handsome black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

In Cutlery Shoppe's signature style, the handle of this Exclusive knife showcases high-visibility orange G-10 scales. The peel-ply-textured scales offer a secure, non-slip grip and, together with a stainless steel backspacer, support the knife's precision-machined back lock mechanism. To complement the DLC-coated blade, the knife’s lock bar, pocket clip, and all other handle hardware also have durable black coatings.
