The blade of this unique knife is crafted from Crucible® Industries' CPM® CRU-WEAR®—an air-hardening tool steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. The CRU-WEAR used in this knife's blade is also enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. The PlainEdge™ blade of this knife is full-flat ground for exceptional edge geometry and is cloaked in a handsome black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

Equally unique, this knife’s handle showcases forest green peel-ply-textured G-10 scales, which are precision machined to house nested stainless steel liners that are the foundation of its high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism. To complement its DLC-coated blade, the handle's reversible, deep-pocket wire clip, liners, and all other hardware also feature durable black coatings.
