CRU-WEAR's advanced alloy composition allows it to excel in applications that require greater wear resistance than D2, more toughness than M2 high speed steel, or both. The CRU-WEAR used in this knife's blade is also enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure that maximizes the performance potential of the steel. The PlainEdge™ blade of this knife is full-flat ground for exceptional edge geometry and proudly features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. To help protect the blade from corrosion, it also features a handsome black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.
