The satin-finished blade of this elite knife is crafted from Crucible® CPM® S90V®—an advanced powder metallurgy stainless steel enriched with vanadium. CPM S90V's high vanadium content favors the formation of hard vanadium carbides instead of chromium carbides, increasing the steel's wear resistance and edge-holding properties while leaving additional free chromium available to enhance corrosion resistance. 

The other defining feature of this remarkable knife is its handle, which showcases scales crafted from brown burlap Micarta®. These dramatic scales are precision-machined to house skeletonized stainless steel liners that form the foundation of the knife's high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism and anchor a four-position pocket clip that supports all possible carry preferences. Their contoured outer surfaces provide a comfortable, secure grip and highlight the dramatic layered construction of the Micarta.
