Technical Specs

This Exclusive version of the Spyderco Para™ 3 Lightweight was produced for Cutlery Shoppe (CutleryShoppe.com) and is only offered through their sales channels. 

The first distinguishing feature of this knife is its blade, which is precision machined from Carpenter® Technology Corporation's premium CTS® XHP blade steel. CTS XHP is an air-hardening, high-carbon, high-chromium alloy that can be described as either a high-hardness 440C stainless steel or a corrosion-resistant D2 tool steel. As a blade material, it offers superior edge retention and surface finish and can be sharpened to a very fine edge. It is also extremely resistant to corrosion and easy to maintain.

True to Cutlery Shoppe's signature style, the handle of this Exclusive Para 3 also showcases high-visibility orange scales. Injection molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), they include Bi-Directional Texturing™ for a secure, non-slip grip and are home to the knife's streamlined Compression Lock® mechanism.
