The first defining feature of this elite knife is its blade, which is precision machined from CPM® 20CV—a highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel that contains a high volume of vanadium carbides and the highest amount of chromium of any vanadium-rich stainless steel currently available. This potent alloy mix gives it a remarkable combination of high wear resistance, superior corrosion resistance, and good impact toughness. To eliminate reflection in environments where light discipline is a concern, this knife's blade also features a stealthy black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

Equally unique, the handle of this knife showcases tan G-10 scales with a peel-ply texture for a secure, non-slip grip. To complement its DLC-coated blade, the handle's four-position pocket clip and all other hardware also feature low-profile black coatings.
