The blade of this elite knife is crafted from CPM® 20CV—an advanced powder metallurgy stainless steel that offers a remarkable combination of high wear resistance, superior corrosion resistance, and impact toughness. To make the full-flat-ground blade even more distinctive, it is cloaked in a black titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating.

Equally unique, the handle combines red fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with a black Zome treatment. The handle components are injection molded in a base red color and then hand dyed using a painstaking process reminiscent of a classical Japanese art form called hiki-zome (brush dyeing). This labor-intensive technique makes every one of these knives an individual work of art. To complement its black blade, the lock bar, clip, and all other handle hardware of this Exclusive knife have their own low-profile black coatings.
