The first defining feature of this knife is its blade, which is full-flat ground from Crucible® Industries' CPM® 20CV. CPM 20CV is an advanced powder metallurgy stainless steel that contains a high volume of vanadium carbides and the highest amount of chromium of any vanadium-rich stainless steel currently available. This potent alloy mix, accentuated by Crucible's state-of-the-art powder metallurgy process, gives CPM 20CV a remarkable combination of high wear resistance, superior corrosion resistance, and good impact toughness.

The other unique feature of this knife is its fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle, which is injection molded in a deep navy blue color. Like all Delica 4 Lightweights, it includes Bi-Directional Texturing™ for a secure grip and a versatile four-position pocket clip that keeps the knife poised for instant access.
