The first defining feature of this elite Manix 2 Lightweight is its blade, which is painstakingly crafted from CPM® 4V® tool steel. This advanced alloy was specifically developed for applications requiring a superior combination of strength, wear resistance, and toughness. These qualities are further enhanced by Crucible® Industries' particle metallurgy manufacturing process, which ensures a uniform distribution of the steel's alloys and a fine, homogenous microstructure.

This knife's PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground for an optimal balance of strength, edge geometry, and point utility and features a durable black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

In keeping with the signature theme of St. Nick's Exclusives, this knife also features a vibrant red handle injection molded from fiberglass-reinforced co-polymer (FRCP). To complement the blade's stealthy DLC coating, the clip and all other handle hardware also have durable black coatings.
