The first defining feature of this unique knife is full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade, which is precision machined from Crucible® Industries' CPM® 20CV. CPM 20CV is an advanced powder metallurgy stainless steel that contains a high volume of vanadium carbides and the highest amount of chromium of any vanadium-rich stainless steel currently available. This sophisticated alloy composition gives it a remarkable balance of high wear resistance, superior corrosion resistance, good impact toughness, and excellent polishability. These properties are further enhanced by Crucible's state-of-the-art powder metallurgy process, which ensures a very fine grain size and uniform distribution of the alloys throughout the steel. 

Equally unique, the fiberglass-reinforced co-polymer (FRCP) handle of this knife is a distinctive "mystic green" color.
