The blade of this unique knife is precision machined from CPM® M4, a special purpose high speed tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. CPM M4's sophisticated alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness—properties that translate to outstanding edge retention and impact resistance in knife blades. This knife’s PlainEdge™ blade showcases these properties with a full-flat grind for unparalleled cutting performance. It is also cloaked in a non-reflective Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

The second defining feature of this knife is its lightweight handle, which is injection molded from mint-colored fiberglass-reinforced co-polymer (FRCP) reminiscent of the "natural" color of Blade HQ's signature G-10-handled Exclusives. To complement the blade’s DLC coating, all the knife’s handle hardware also sports matching black coatings.
