A product of Crucible’s state-of-the-art particle metallurgy process, CPM M4 is a special-purpose high speed tool steel that is widely used in high-performance custom blades and knives used in competitive cutting. Its advanced alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness—properties that translate to outstanding edge retention and superior impact resistance in knife blades. This knife's PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground for low-friction cutting performance and proudly showcases Spyderco's signature Trademark Round Hole™ for quick, positive, one-handed opening with either hand.

The other defining feature of this one-of-a-kind Exclusive design is its handle construction, which is highlighted by textured natural G-10 scales. The near-translucent quality of this material showcases the handle’s skeletonized stainless steel liners and high-strength Ball Bearing Lock™ mechanism while providing a secure, non-slip grip. To ensure ease of carry and keep the knife poised for instant access, the handle includes a reversible stainless steel pocket clip that offers both right and left-side tip-up carry.
