The Para Military 2 is one of Spyderco's most popular and in-demand models and therefore a natural canvas for Exclusive projects. At Bento Box Shop's request, this elite version of the knife features a full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade machined from premium K390 MICROCLEAN® steel. Manufactured by Böhler-Uddeholm, K390 is an advanced cold work tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. Its sophisticated alloy mix was specifically developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength needed in industrial cutting, blanking, and punching operations. Remarkably, its exceptionally fine, homogeneous microstructure also makes it readily machinable and easy to heat treat. As a blade steel, these qualities translate to outstanding edge retention and excellent toughness.

To further distinguish this Bento Box Exclusive from standard versions of the Para Military 2, it also features ranger green G-10 handle scales. The textured scales are precision machined to house nested stainless steel liners that provide excellent structural strength and form the foundation of the knife's Compression Lock™ mechanism—a high-strength, extremely user-friendly lock that allows safe and easy one-handed operation. To ensure convenient carry and instant access, the handle also includes a four-position clip that supports right or left-side, tip-up or tip-down carry and an oversized lined lanyard hole for the attachment of fobs or lanyards.
