The first defining feature of this elite knife is its blade, which is meticulously crafted from CPM® 4V® tool steel. This advanced alloy was specifically developed for applications requiring a superior combination of toughness and wear resistance. These qualities are further enhanced by Crucible® Industries' particle metallurgy manufacturing process, which ensures a uniform distribution of the steel's alloys and a fine, homogenous microstructure. 

This knife's PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground for a superior balance of strength, edge geometry, and point utility. Its Trademark Round Hole™ is fully accessible from both sides, providing leverage for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. It also has a durable black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating that eliminates the blade's reflective properties and helps protect it from corrosion.

In keeping with the signature theme of St. Nick's Exclusives, this knife also features a vibrant red-colored handle. The linerless handle is constructed with peel-ply-textured G-10 scales and is supported by a stainless steel backspacer for strength. It houses the knife's highly refined back lock mechanism, which locks the blade securely open when in use and allows easy operation with either hand. The handle also includes four sets of threaded inserts to mount the four-position pocket clip, which provides a choice of left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. To complement the blade's stealthy DLC coating, the clip, lock bar, and all other handle hardware also have durable black coatings.
