Been a long time admirer, and finally started pulling the trigger on them lately. Hoping I didn't buy some fakes?

Dear kidego:
Welcome to the Spyderco Forum.
From what I can see, your knives are authentic.
Stay safe,
Mike

Look good to me. Buying from an authorized dealer means you shouldn't have to worry about fakes.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Re: did I buy fakes?
Hello. It seems to me that the police is fake.
1) The inscription is too low in relation to the spider and the hole (pic 1, 2);
2) Different engraving color (pic 1);
3) The narrow "nose" of the spider, no triangle and too weird serrated geometry, doesn't look like any of the branded knives I have (pic 3, 4);

Yeah, I'd send that Police to Spyderco for authentication, it looks a bit off to me as well.

The bug on that Police is the same as other fakes I've seen that claim they're 9cr18 replicas.

Hmmm. I think I send the Police in to Spyderco or get my money back. Here is Spyderco's official picture:
Yours is a bit different and your bug looks like it has a stinger instead of a triangle or fangs.

The bug is definitely a giveaway along with the laser etched makers mark. I'm pretty sure its stamped on Seki city Spydercos not etched. There's shady websites that advertise that exact knife with the same bug and claim they're 9cr18 replicas. They look 100% like the OPs knife.
