Post by SF Native »

So I got the cruwear pm2 and rubicon2 on order.
The wait is killing me. Wish that one or the other would hurry up and get here.
So, what are you waiting for?

Been really keeping my ears open for more word on the Ouroboros, and also the SpydeChef...

That ATR, and the Cruwear Paramilitary 2 are both models I've really hoped would become reality, and now that they are I'll be looking forward to those now also!

What about that blue Jester, lol...

I'm really looking forward to the Rhino. But in the meantime, I have a black FRN Native 5 enroute.

It hasn't been very long. I've been on pre-order for 6 months before.

Just think about other stuff!

I'm eager for word on the Police 4. And I'm excited for the Chinook 4. Those are probably the only two where the suspense is "killing" me.

Of course I'm very excited for the Rhino, Magnitude, and Ouroboros; however, I'm not dying to get my hands on them.

Without speculating on possible new designs Spyderco could make, and sticking only to what has been mostly promised, I would say I am on "edge of the seat waiting" for the Caribbean and Fish Hunter, as I've mentioned in other threads. I am also eager, however, to see the LC200N Native that will be available on the open consumer knife market.

Well "SF Native" I'm glad you put up this thread. Because YES!! there is something in the Spyderco product pipeline that is yet to be released and it's just driving me bats that they are not yet ready to put it on the open market.

I'm speaking of the new GAUNTLET sharpening system. I was told by a friend of mine who attended this past year's BLADE Show that Spyderco did have a prototype of the GAUNTLET there at the show. And I know they want all the bugs worked out before releasing it to the general public and that's understandable for sure. But it's been about 17 years or so since they released their last great kit and that being the 204 Sharpmaker which truly has made sharpening a lot easier on many people to be sure. The Spyderco 204 Sharpmaker was and is a masterpiece of a product needless to say. So it's high time for a new kit to hit the market.

I want to test drive a GAUNTLET sharpening system so bad that I'm willing to almost hitchhike to GOLDEN, CO USA Earth to get one. Yeah the wait for the GAUNTLET is truly making me very impatient to put it nicely. When will they release it?????

Really? I haven't seen them anywhere online in the usual early release spots.

Still the Spydiechef for me... Even though I won't be able to get my hands on a new Spydie before December, I'm really looking forward to reviews of both the knife and the steel, so I hope it comes out soon-ish :)
