Aqua Salt
Hey Sal!
I was wondering if a smaller version of the Aqua Salt was on the horizon or being considered. In fact, an an H1 neck knife would be something I would love to see ... around a 3" blade and fully serrated of course! No trouble with moving parts, easy to care for and completely waterproof. Anyway, just wanted to see what the chances were for something like this.
Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing thew other day. I picked up a vintage Vagabond and it's handle reminded me a lot of the Aqua Salt. Then I was thinking what if Spyderco brought out a similar knife in H1 with a blade a little longer than the Vagabond's, but shorter than the Aqua Salt's--kind of like an Aqua Salt crossed with an Esee 3. Whatever...I'd buy one!

FWIW, when I was at Blade and Joyce was showing me the Autonomy, she mentioned that due to the amount of H-1 Spyderco had to purchase in order to build the Autonomy, we will almost certainly be seeing other US models using it. Given that the C41 Native Lightweight is the only unlined FRN model coming out of Golden, I think an H-1 fixed blade is certainly a possibility.

Hi guys, I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but for reasons that are too complicated for me to post it is highly unlikely that there will be any other U.S. made models with H1. Autonomy is an exception only because as an automatic it cannot be produced outside of the U.S.

There is nothing more important than this one day.
I really miss the Aqua overall. Really would like to see it's return one way or another, it really is a great utility knife especially for fishermen
