Micro Dyad Black Pearl

#1

Post by cosmo7809 »

Hey guys, just got myself a Micro Dyad in black pearl for 70 bucks.

I have always wanted one of these little guys and decided to nab one.

How to you guys like your dyads? I think it will be a great gent knife yet something to throw in the pocket when making a quick trip to the store.

Pictures would be great to hold me over :)

Thanks

Ive got the jigged bone microdyad and often carry it as my second smaller knife along with something like my Delica or Para 2, etc. Its a nice small knife that wont scare anyone in the office. Its just a very cool, compact example of Spyderco design, engineering and quality. Congrats.

Love the looks of the Micro Dyad. One of these days I will find a "knife mechanic" who can take one apart, shuffle the pieces around, and put it back together left handed. :)

Here you go, all of the Dyads together..............one of the full-size ones and one of the Juniors (next size down) black Micarta's have been sold to a Knife Buddy in QLD. I've acquired another Micarta Junior as a replacement and will buy any more I can find of any size as long as the price is right.............there is a NEW version of the Junior due out in 2011 so DEFINITELY up for that! ;)

I like the knife a lot, prefer jigged bone scales. It certainly good for light tasks and looks great.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I like them too, but I think I prefer the pearl just a tad more. I like how the pearl changes color in different light.

Even just changing the viewing angle can change the colors. Few more teaser shots...

Fantastic little knives I love mine. Wish they'd make a Carbon Fiber and Micarta ones.
