#1

Post by GeorgeMaggos »

Hello Fellow :spyder: Forumites,

This is my 500th post, (yea me) & I have gained way more than I have been able to give to this forum, so as a small gesture of my heartfelt appreciation to every member here, yes everyone, no matter if you have one post or a million posts, no matter if you just won the last contest or have never won a contest, no matter if you live in the USA or somewhere overseas ( no matter if you like me or not  ) whatever the case you are invited & encouraged to enter this contest, so no excuses. I will ship this anywhere.

The only rule on this is you must be at least 18 yrs old to recieve this knife, you know the drill it is the law in most places & I dont make laws.

So Please Enter ;)

Please only post once to this thread so I can keep track & this event will run for one week & at the end of it I will use a random number generator to select the winner your post number will be your entry number & all you have to do is say "I'm in" to be counted & included in this giveaway, dont worry about the spelling, or the color, or font size, or anything I am confident I will be able to figure it out if you say your in, or if you say count me in, or I am in, or something like that now if you write it in a different language other than english then please also translate it for me I dont read any other langauges as of now.

I am giving away my 2005 Spyderco.com Forum Knife
1 Of Only 125 Sold
Designed by our very own :spyder: member DIALEX

Thats right this is free to the winner no charge, nada, zip, zilch, nothing.

This knife has never left it's box & has seen no pocket time ever :)

As your reading this you may be thinking whats the catch? Why is this guy doing this? Whats wrong with it? Whats wrong with him? He must be nuts giving this knife away! Well I am not nuts. Ok maybe alittle ; )

I am just trying to pack something into the stream of life today, you know to pay it forward because I have so many blessings in my life today, thats it & thats why there are no strings attached. So lets have some fun with this according to the Spyderco Forums Statistics there are 6,434 members in this forum so lets see how many post in this thread.

I like this place a lot, I have learned a lot & I have met some of the nicest people I know today here, many I now call my friends, so to show my thanks to everyone invloved in this forum from the top to the bottom & all in between I am doing this GAW - thats why.

So after reading all this you are still saying to yourself, you know self, I am a fixed blade knife kinda guy I wont enter because of that, I say so what if you win you may like it or if you dont give it to someone who will, or if you are the guy who is saying I dont really like SS handled knives because they scratch to easy or they weigh my pants down, I say so what enter anyway give it a try if you dont like it give it away to someone who does, or maybe you are the guy who dislikes plain edged blades you only keep serrated bladed knives you guy's know who you are, well again I say so what, it doesnt matter what type of knives you like or what you carry if you win it & dont want it or dont like it then you have an oportunity to brighten someone elses day with a gift, sounds like a win win to me.

Ok so enough talk let's get this thing started & one week from now this knife will have a new owner I have include some photos of the GAW knife below just to whet your appetites ~ so let the contest (mayhem) begin.
I am starting it & ending it @ 5:00 Central time in honor of my 500th post : )

George,

That's awesome buddy. What a kind gesture. I don't have a forum knife at all so I'll be happy to say "I'm in".
