M2 Ritter Mini-Grip (pics)

Post by rs2 »

My Ritter M2 Mini-Grip arrived today! I wasn't expecting it until June. I really like the shape and grind of the blade. Probably should have ordered a full-sized one also.

Here are some comparisons with my Cabela's D2 Mini-Grip

As always Ron the pics are excellent. Congrats on the new piece. :)

Thank you Paul, TKC and Dave! Glad you like the photos. Sorry 'bout the Benchmade, Paul; I'll try to keep from letting that happen too often. :o

I got word this morning that my next photo subject will be here on Thursday - the Waved Delica 4! :D Stay tuned.

Ron, your pictures are ALWAYS top notch!! I like the knife. I only have one BM knife, but it does seem to be a good one. I am looking forward to that next "photo subject"!!

Great pics, the knife has nice clean lines. Looks like a nice user. I too cannot imagine buying a Benchmade, but I wouldn't mind a review of that Ritter folder. ;)

I'd never buy a Benchmade, but nice photography.

Spyderco and Benchmade are not at war, so you don't have to pick a side! Rule out buying knives by either manufacturer and you're going to miss out on some great knives.

These are the ONLY Benchmades I will ever buy. These are the last. If I knew now when I was purchasing these, I NEVER would have bought them. I didn't know about Benchmade & Neil Blackwood stealing the Spyderhole. I will NEVER buy another Benchamde again!! I am glad that the Ritter Mini-Grips have thumbstuds and not holes.

But now you know. Shock. Horror.
As the M2 High Speed Grips are so highly sought after, you could VERY easily get your money back by selling them on and then you wouldn't have the guilt of owning them.
I'm sure that akan529, Menocu or Tacoma Kid would gladly take them off your hands:

Somehow though I think you're going to keep them..

Shoot, I would buy them from you...however hold on to them. I'm an honest person and at 250 pieces, they are worth plenty. Put them in a case, some some reason M2 is sought after like none other. Hard it may be, but for some reason I still prefer S30V over anything else...probably because it was made for knives. :p

As amusing as the ripoff of the Spyderhole is, I find it even more funny as it is probably one of Benchmade's more popular models. Heck, I own one and it is a well made knife. With thumb studs, it would not be easy to access. In comparing the holes, they are different but have some commonolities.

My Ritter Mini-grips are NOT for sale, nor did I imply in any way that they would be. I LOVE them.
