I really like that the native 5s seem to have a lapped/polished action the spine of the blade where the lock bar rubs is like a mirror. My forum native is the same way and thats S110V i like to imagine a lot of elbow grease goes into the native 5

Yup Vash...when I shelled my LW N5, I thought " While I'm in here I'll tune up the radius & lock bar hammer mating face with an India stone or maybe my UF Sharpmaker hone"...

But after looking at that mirror polish you mention on both parts up close, I figured anything I tried would be counterproductive... :o

Hats off to the Golden Crew, we appreciate your results on this model, Thanx Much :)

Holy canoli, I completely forgot about these. I can see why they cost a bit more than a Delica.

I'm just waiting for the blue FRN, then I will be jumping on these.

How did you disassemble and reassemble the knife?

The new Lightweight Native 5 is torx-screw together construction...the most simple knife I've ever deconstructed...

Did you think I took apart a riveted model?

Truly very very simple, but I know you realize that if you do, then you void your warranty
