I started my collecting with USA Schrades. Taylor may use the name, but he will never make a real Schrade IMO.Bluntrauma wrote:This is complete bullshit. USA Schrade was such a distinguished company. The Taylor company has sunk to a new low.

I hear you. Back when I started collecting knives I bought and used Schrade. I still have 5 or so Uncle Henry's and Schrades made in the US. I fine piece of cutlery from a great institution.araneae wrote:I started my collecting with USA Schrades. Taylor may use the name, but he will never make a real Schrade IMO.

+1 on that sentiment. That's why USA made real Schrades are commanding more $ on the secondary market and the "new" Schrades will soon be appearing at a gas station near you.araneae wrote:I started my collecting with USA Schrades. Taylor may use the name, but he will never make a real Schrade IMO.

So if you are in the coppying business does this knife represent a real accomplishment? It's like a double rip-off.
