Foliage Green Manix Sprint Run

#1

Post by catamount »

I just wanted to say that this is the C95 "big" Manix. Some are under the impression that it is the C101 Mini Manix. It has an S30V PE blade and is the same as the original, except for the FG G-10.

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

Huh?? I haven't heard of this one, but it sure sounds good! I may have to add a (FG) Manix to the collection after all!

KamSingh. The FG Manix color looks like the official knife of the U.S. Army. Cool! I'm sure it would live up to the expectations. I've heard many complaints of FG , it's great on the Manix. IMHO.

:spyder: Is this happening or a fantasy? I've not heard of Spyderco releasing a sprint of a knife the same year the same model was disco'ed. :spyder:

I was thinking the same thing Michael. Doesn't this mean the Manix has not been discontinued then? It was to my knowledge that sprint runs were made with some prior notice.

It's a reality. It's a 600 piece Sprint Run. Sometimes we like to surprise you. :)

I might hop on up to the SFO on monday....

I want to see this FG... See if it really is as bad as it is in my head.... Cause that little Mock-up of the Manix doesnt look that bad.

Is the Citadel on display in the SFO?
