What are the best non-Spyderco knives you bought in 2006?

If your topic has nothing to do with Spyderco, you can post it here.

The Boker Subcom,

Benchmade Apparition. Wickedly fast opening. Looks good too.
It's better to have knife and not need it than to need a knife and not have it.

I somehow managed to buy a bunch this year, both Spydies and non. Of the non-Spydercos, the standouts for me have been:

(1) Benchmade mini-grip 555, in limited ed. gray [I really like this blade shape, but I MUCH prefer the round Spydie hole].

(2) Camillus Talon in talonite.

(3) A custom Simonich necker, in talonite w/ carbon fiber scales. I LOVE this little blade.

Oh, also got a Graham Bros. midtech razel, I really like that one too. (Oddly, this list makes me sound like a fixed-blade person...I'm not, really. I usually only carry a folder on me.)
