Yeah! That one looks awesome.
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Yes sir. And a very unique one at that. The tension for the lockbar is from 2 cutouts in the liners vs a traditional single leaf spring. This allows for a somewhat flow through construction. Is a very cool design and knife that I received as a gift from MG2.

Today is a Kershaw Leek 1660ALCKT
If anyone has any information about a possible distributor for these, please let me know. All I can ever find online is that this variant was a limited run of 595 pieces and that Kershaw has no record of who the run was sold to.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Thanks Paul.
First impression is just wow.
It's an extremely nice knife. And, the sharpest I've ever seen outta the box. He did such an excellent job sharpening this blade. He put some time into it for sure.
*Also, very nice to have Bohler M398 - my favorite pocket knife steel is the M390,204p,20cv family - but, this Bohler M398 should be really nice - quite a jump in Vanadium (7.2!) And, just such a great Stainless Steel to begin with

Going clipless again today.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.
Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Carrying the XL version today.vivi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 7:23 am
Of all the knives to kick Spyderco out of my pocket, it's a folder I picked up for under $50. Keep coming back to this one. The ergonomics work so nice for me.
I know most probably compare the Voyager to the Endura, but I've been comparing mine to my Millie. I like how they both angle the blade down more than typical folders, it's one of the reason they're each so comfortable to use. Similar blade geometry and weight too. Both have an index choil for choking up, and a roomy full sized handle behind it.
I've been carrying Cold Steel folders every day so far in 2024. Been rotating between a few models seeing what works best for me.
I've gotta say, their thicker handles with really nice contouring along the edges compare nicely to the thinner, more squared off Spyderco handles.
