Thank you for the runner up in the contest . Jeff’s picture was awesome and deserves the win . I was very impressed with the quality shots that entered , I didn’t envy anyone who had to judge this week . Great job and hope to see more pictures from you . Regards MG2

Went out for a little fishing this afternoon, got bold and took some tool steel along.

Last weekend took the kayaks over to Devils lake out of Bend Oregon (about a 3 hour drive). It was stunning, the water was so clear and clean… and COLD (for this time of year). Had the trusty Pac Salt on the yak with me the whole time lol!

The fishing was slow. It was a hot, sunny afternoon, and the water quality is rather poor from an algae bloom. But I did find a few willing fish. Just took some work.
