So you have to upload to the forum as well. Or can just submit to the link?
Anyone?

If we spent as much time trying as we do doubting, we might have already accomplished it.

Not to be rude but you would know the answer to your question if you read the first post. There are at least three separate reminders of how important it is to actually read the whole first post. Not only that but the reminders are also highlighted to further stress the importance of reading the whole post.

I would still recommend reading the first post in its entirety but, with reluctance I will tell you, yes you must upload to the forum as well.

Man, I had a great pic selected. But unfortunately I always take pictures in horizontal mode. Because that's the right way to do it on the phone.
it's the right way to do it for everything. don't let them tell you any different. just recreate your picture in the wrong orientation for this contest. :)
Dang, I need winter and a hard freeze.
oh yeah. that might be tough. haha what about cropping? maybe the image has enough information for a vertical crop?

No I think I was too close. It was my winter ice Manix. Knife goes edge to edge.

See, that's what I thought they wanted when I tried to submit mine. Make the knife the focal point and try to minimize the background a bit. Not sure how all the conversions and pixels and stuff work, but this didn't fit the format if that would somehow help anybody here for this year.

you know, I was thinking that the theme/format for this year is the same it's been for the previous two years

why keep repeating the horizontal pics style? shake it up a bit

Hopefully this works! Will be posting this with higher resolution on the other website soon. If for some reason the “SALT” font on the salt bowl is a restriction for posting let me know, I have a different dragonfly picture without it that I can post.

Wanted to have a spring/summer appeal with this one. This is a Spyderco Dragonfly with lemons and limes around it (all cut with the dragonfly of course). The salt bowl was my great grandmothers, and fits perfectly with the salt knife theme. Hoping y’all enjoy it!

Not OD (Olive Drab) green. It was Foliage Green, matched specifically to the color developed for the military, intended to blend with a variety of background colors.

Hey, Rick:
If I recall correctly, the issue was the size of your file - it wasn't high-resolution. It wasn't the composition of the image, just that the file was too small for print. If we try to format a low-res image for print at the size we need for the calendar, the image is horribly pixelated. I hope this helps clear that up for everyone.

There is nothing more important than this one day.
