Mahalo for the warm welcome! I'm living on Oahu now, but I used to live on Maui back in the day. Visited Kauai several times and loved it! I love snorkeling Kee Beach.

I'd love one! I'm definitely in for a 24 oz. Yeti type cup

Hey Sensei,
Gail and I worked shows in Oahu 3 or 4 times per year from '84 until the late 90's. Then we'd take the kinds outer island. Camp on the beaches and snorkel for breakfast. Good memories.
I'm still listening on the mugs. We need to narrow it down.

A 20 0z double-walled stainless travel mug would be great but if it comes with a Yeti price tag, then I'm out. A ceramic mug would also be good. I am more interested in getting a good mug at a reasonable price than getting any particular type of mug.

They already have four different mugs in their catalog, how many do they need?

Stainless is practical, but ceramic of some sort tastes better. Steel transfers a metallic taste to coffee. I usually drink out of the long out of business Hull Oven Proof Drip pattern mugs. They are thick enough that coffee does not get cold too fast. A slightly larger, thick mug (not too big or thick!) would be nice.

Re: How about a Forum Mug?
So you want another pottery mug that says Forum on it? That seems redundant.
I'm much more intrigued by the double-wall stainless rambler. I don't have a problem with coffee out of high quality stainless.

I do use vacuum insulated stainless when outdoors, but for everyday home use I prefer double walled glass mugs like those made by Bodum. I think even J. A. Henckel makes them. Sweese is probably more popular these days. Dunno about their advertising programs, tho. They are breakable but I like them a lot. I use Bodum and Epare`. Hand blown borosilicate glass.

I love this idea! As much as I would like another Deneen mug, I would be happy with a Yeti 20oz as well. Please don’t cut corners and use knock off tumblers like RTIC, I just won’t buy one.
I agree with Doc and that stainless does change your coffee, but that’s not the only beverage I’ll put in a Yeti. An awesome to go mug I use for coffee is the Fellow Carter that is ceramic lined, but I don’t think they engrave.

Tervis makes decent Yeti-esque tumblers too. I was thinking something like this:
But with the mouse logo a Spyder instead
Or a smaller, ceramic to-go like this one:

As long as the stainless steel is SPY27.pantagana23 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 12:58 pm1 liter (34 oz) stainless steel mug with double wall. Enough to keep that beer or coffee pumping your head with adrenaline.

How about an espresso demitasse cup? No? I do like that smaller ceramic mug to go, a lot, though.

I'd love it ! Along with the SpyderRing, of course
This please ☝The Deacon wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 9:16 amOne like the current "Edge is a Ghost" pottery mug, only with logos with Forum markings on both sides would be great.

I’m all in for a mug or two. The larger the better.

This gets my vote also.sakana-sensei wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 11:41 amVacuum insulated stainless steel with black powder coating (like a Yeti rambler), with no coating on the spyderlogo so that it shines through in plain stainless. I'd buy in a heartbeat!
Re: How about a Forum Mug?
Well this is a spyderco mug we are talking about so just plain stainless ain't going to cut it (pun intended). I don't think an LC200n mug is going to be cost effective. So it should be ceramic, with a CBN bottom "rim" for sharpening and maybe a diamond section on the handle.
