I know of another Chief supposedly dropping in the next month or two that will make a lot of people happy. Maybe they are doing all of the Chief blades at the same time to increase efficiency?
Something with 4V steel????

I can neither confirm nor deny.

So do they know how many they got and its a preorder? Or are they just taking orders and then maybe going to cancel some if too many are sold?

When I posted, I expected it to go out of stock after a short time. The fact that it's still up is worrying. Maybe nobody's ordered it? I apologise if my post leads anybody to getting an order cancelled.

I emailed them and Eric confirmed that the website is accurate with the amount he's expecting to receive. 1 left.
Thats great to hear since I ordered one. Good to know. I guess they are waiting until they get their shipment in before sending confirmation emails. Hopefully they will confirm my order tomorrow.

Thank you! I have been waiting on the Rex 45 but thought this will give me a taste for the model in the meantime. Plus, it looks like a very cool kitchen knife for days when I'm cooking at other people's houses.

Same here. I'd almost be embarrassed to admit how many times I've refreshed Rex45 Chief pages! :D

I'm a little surprised these are still there. I expected that waiting for a year for the first Native Chief variation would have people chomping at the bit for one.

I dont know if these are selling slow because of the price, because the zcarta shaman is also dropping, or if its because this is not the alert thread.

Frankly though if its because this isnt the alert thread, then we figured out an easy way to make getting sprints a whole lot easier. Just make an alert thread when the knife is announced that everybody subscribes to. Make a discussion thread later on. Put alerts in the discussion thread. Easy peasy.

Probably all of the above I guess. Everybody's watching for the Shaman.
I couldn't find an S90v Native Chief Alert thread?

I am trying to resist but can feel myself caving soon.

If it sells slow it is because most 4” knives seem to sell slowly.

Torn between an S90V Chief or holding out for Rex45. Plan to give one of them a go and see if it grows on me.

I’m exactly in the same boat. I think I’m going to go for the Rex though.
