That must be the SuperBlue Stretch, right? Nice knife, how are you liking that steel? I have the V-Toku2 Stretch and I'm loving it. I would love to see Spyderco do more solid Aogami.

These two again
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Yes, it is the SuperBlue, my favorite version of the Stretch. To me, V-Toku2 and SuperBlue are fairly similar steels, both can become very sharp easily, maybe the V-Toku2 has a bit better edge retention?... but nothing significant, at least this is my impression.JonLeBlanc wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2019 1:11 pmThat must be the SuperBlue Stretch, right? That's cool; yeah from what I understand V-Toku2 is Takefu's version of Blue. I have never used Blue, but from my observation V-Toku has about the edge retention of 52100, that is to say not awful but not stellar. But sharpening is fun to me, so I'm unconcerned :cool:Filoso- wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 4:59 amYes, it is the SuperBlue, my favorite version of the Stretch. Dragonfly again... it matched my mt bike!
Seriously, this thing is such a neat little knife. And the H1 makes it even better. It's almost like it is designed to take the worry out of carrying a knife you know is gonna get sweaty or rained on or used in other wet conditions lol.
Can't wait until Friday ordering me a Salt 2...
