Best looking Spyderco knives
We all know that Spyderco adheres to form follows function. That said, there are some eye catching Spydies out there. What Spydies do you think are the best looking? Post them up and lets enjoy seeing some knives that look as good as the work!

^ I'm with you on the Fluted Ti Native 5! That and the 40th Anniversary Native are two of nicest looking Spydies I have.
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!
Re: Best looking Spyderco knives
I wish I had a way to put up a pic on this one I'm going to mention. But most of you know what it looks like. I still say that the C-60 Massad Ayoob which I also deem to be one of the most ergonomic, functional Spyders ever made but I also think because of it's most unique design I believe it's also one of the most elegant as well.
I give honorable mention to the C-46 Lum Tanto Folder, The TEMPERANCE 1 fixed blade and the Dodo model are all beauty contest winners in my book. Oh I know many of you are going to disagree but I also attribute overall function as a determining factor as well. And all of these models have it all IMO.

Completely agreed about the Fluted Ti Native and it was the first to mind when I saw the thead title. It was my bait to get in this year's calendar :)
Second to mind was the Sage2

Re: Best looking Spyderco knives
The Native 5 fluted Ti is a beauty indeed, but any version of the Native is good looking anyway. One of Spyderco's best design ever, IMO.
I also quite like the Dragonfly, especially when the knife is closed (I know, weird).
And of course there is the Persian...

I missed out on a few of them around $150, now they are usually well over $200.
I will be different though and say the Kris. I would love to find one.

Re: Best looking Spyderco knives
I've always thought the C42 Viele was a great looking knife. When I first saw one, I thought it was a custom knife.
Here's some (as usual) excellent pics from Mr. Blonde:

Re: Best looking Spyderco knives
I love the function of the Spyderhole, and I'll never give it up in my working knives, but I actually don't like the way it looks.
I think the best looking folding Spydie in the current line up is the Mantra 2.

How about the always classy GB2?
Re: Best looking Spyderco knives
Love my GB2, a great user as well! When I first got it I thought it was a bit too big, but it's grown on me as a user.

Re: Best looking Spyderco knives
I was going to propose the fluted Ti Military until I saw this .... [sigh]
Re: Best looking Spyderco knives
Hard to compete with bolsters! (Even if they have screws)
Re: Best looking Spyderco knives
So many beautiful models to choose from, my current "favorite" sometimes evolves. But in addition to the nice fluted Ti Native 5 mentioned already (Ihave 3 of them) the fluted Ti Military is nice in any version of original anodizing or just satin:
And then there is the Chaparral, whether in Rafir Noble or sculpted Ti, the many models decorated by Santa Fe Knives with mother-of-pearl etc.
I think it is really nice that Spyderco gives us so much variety from the different Sprints - different colors and materials, glow-in-the-dark scales on Native 5 and Manix 2, brilliant oranges... my problem is I like too many of them, thus emptying my pocket book.

Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)
