Love the look of that edge bevel.

When did you pick up that Gen 3 Preon 1? I need to get one but missed the release.

What about the tail clicky? I liked the Gen 2 improvements over the Gen 1. How is this UI?restless ghost wrote: ↑Sun Jun 24, 2018 5:27 pmI got lucky and checked the website on the day they were available! Really like it though, it's a big improvement on the previous model.

The lack of visible PWM on this one is better, and the tint is much nicer. I prefer this UI as well. Basically the only thing I miss about the old one is the raw copper. Everything else is better with this one.

Not today, but this past weekend while camping. A great combo! As you can see my lanyard is falling apart, so the wife was braiding me a new one and decided to snap this pic while I waited. For $45, that Kershaw is an amazing chopper.

Thanks guys! It's my favorite too!

I'm currently on a bicycle tour. I loaded up a tarp & hammock on my road bike and hit the road. I've been doing 100+ miles a day through the Carolinas, visiting Charlotte, Rock Hill, Charleston, Asheville and more.
I brought my trusty PE Pacific Salt for my trip. Sharpened it at 15 degrees per side with a medium grit finish until it popped hair. I'm using it mostly for food and trimming back foliage at camp spots. Shouldn't have any issues holding its edge.
