It looks like a cool little box cutter but probably not something I'll buy.

I've always wanted a tiny spydie with a clip. I'm in.

Love the size and I love the wharncliffe blade! All in all, it looks like a knife I will enjoy!

I am definitely in on this one. Every time I hold a Manbug, I wish it had a clip.

Not my cup of tea but went to look it up. Do you guys even know how to link pics?
Re: McNees
One of things I like about the Manbug is that it doesn't have clip. I like to carry my Manbugs in the bottom of my pocket and a clip would only add bulk. The other thing I like about the MB is that I get three fingers on the handle. It looks like the McNees is a two-finger knife at best. That might not be a bad thing as long as the short handle doesn't make it too awkward to open one-handed.BrianMcCord wrote: ↑Thu Apr 12, 2018 4:29 pmI am definitely in on this one. I've been looking at the McNees a little harder and I'm to go back on what I said in my earlier post. I think it would be kind of cool to have a tiny little framelock like this and it would be ideal for the watch pocket. I do like the idea of having a little Wharnie and I may end up carrying it more than I think. I guess I'll wait and see what the price is and make my decision then. It's definitely a novelty so price is going to factor in more than usual for me.

Re: McNees
First time I’ve seen that. Thank you, tvenuto, for posting the image. The cool thing about the design is the pair of concavities on the spine, because they allow finger purchase for controlled detail work.
Re: McNees
It’s a cool little blade, what’s the cost like?

Re: McNees
Not too keen on it.. Depends a lot on the price which will make or break the deal for me.

I've been asking and praying for a small titanium handled Spydie to cover cigar cutting duties for years. The Mcnees knife looks perfect. I'v been searching for a place to do a pre-order.

Yes I do know how. I was going to post a Pic from McNees website in my first post, and Mr. Blondes pics as well, but I 'try' not to post other peoples pic's without asking first. I figured I'd just post a link to the thread instead.tvenuto wrote: Not my cup of tea but went to look it up. Do you guys even know how to link pics?

I see you posted a thread on this as well, sorry I missed it.gdwtvb wrote: I've been asking and praying for a small titanium handled Spydie to cover cigar cutting duties for years. The Mcnees knife looks perfect. I'v been searching for a place to do a pre-order.

I like that it has a clip, and really like the blade. It's nice to be getting more variety in the minature knife category. Ladybug, Manbug, Dragonfly, Lil Nilakka, One Eyed Jack, and now the McNees. I'd like to see more fully ambidextrous little knives too, as I tend to carry my small knives on my left side.

Ha it was a good natured question, like “do you even lift, bro?” It’s what the kids are saying nowadays. I just can’t stand threads without some knife porn.
Re: McNees
As I've said before I'm not a huge fan of small folders for the most part but I do have a few exceptions. One being the Carbon Fiber Cricket and I do believe that I could really learn to like this little guy if they would also offer it up in Spyderedge. Because if my CF Cricket were not in Spyderedge I would have virtually no use for it either.
I like the concept of a compact wharnie blade but again in SE I can see a lot of jobs I could use it for. This is the first time I've seen this little guy. And it's got a blade steel that does have a good track record with serrated blades.

:D I understand. I like pics too. What the heck, hopefully Mr. McNees won't mind.....

Re: McNees
No worries. I was trying to point out that copying and pasting a photo from an internet site can work. But to post photos of your own they have to be on a site somewhere, usually some photo hosting site. These are a pain to manage and sometimes disappear and some begin to charge for hosting photos that were free.
If I can’t copy legally a photo from a site then I will use links to my Google photos.

Mr. Blonde has previously stated being ok with posting his photos as long as he is credited. I think he’s just as into enabling as the rest of us! I’ll admit it’s an assumption I’m making, but posting his photo unadulterated will include his watermark, thus crediting the photo. I have to think any maker will be thrilled to have people discussing their work, and getting info out there.
