Way to expensive. I see nothing here that should make it any more than a plain Jane PM2. If steel was more exotic maybe, but black g10, s30v, compression lock 3.5 blade. What am I missing? I like it and would like to have one but would never buy for that price. What a shame.
Exotic cobra hood, exotic blade shape. You just need to look in other areas to find the exotic! ;)
Mine will be here on Monday.

Is the opening hole smaller between the two versions? Or is it the cobra hood placement? Or maybe just the angle of the shot? The hood looks closer to the opening hole on the old version compared to the new one. Actually now that I look at the whole knife the new atr looks smaller overall.

DLT also has these in stock. I'll pass on this one. $211.22 is steep for G-10 and S30V. Appears there will be fewer Spydies in my future. :(

Mine just came in. This is the beauty. I used to have SS variant. This is much better.
Great job Spyderco. Thank you for bringing it back and keeping cobra hood.
