Native5 Salt!

Orders for the Native5 Salt are now being accepted at the Company Store! I snagged two of each flavor, for good measure, and thanks to Spyderco's generous OpFocus program.

I had been really looking forward to this but I find myself fond of longer blades lately. So the caribbean it is, time to get a sheepsfoot SE to compliment the plain edge leaf I already have.

HAHA! This was my exact thought when I went to buy the SE...

After resisting for years, (I already have a Delica) I finally bought a Native. It's a good blade size formy typical use.

But I went for the SS* Maxamet.

* SS = Stainful Steel. ;-)

The price on these is interesting. They're $35 higher MSRP than the regular Native 5 LW. In contrast, the Salt 2 is only $10 higher MSRP than the regular Delica 4 LW. I wonder how much of that is tariffs on top of the normal costs to import the LC200N blade steel. I think MAP on them is still completely reasonable for the design and materials, so just an observation, and in no way a complaint.
