Re: Spymyto is hot!
I was lucky enough to be sitting at my computer when the email came through that they were in stock at Knifeworks so I snagged one up immediately.

Re: Post up your Rit dye projects..
I dyed my Salt the most unfortunate shade of pea green. Here's my unfortunate plum purple with and odd hint of brown Yojumbo scales. The color was supposed to be "smokey blue"--that's probably why there's a little brown in it--but I mixed the dye too strong, which was especially foolish o...

Re: Lil' Temp 3 & Short Thick Blades
Not sure if this will help you make your decision but I just purchased one a couple weeks ago and within 5 minutes of holding it I knew I would be sending it back, not because there is anything wrong with the knife but it just wasn't for me. First off, the knife is not as 'Lil' as pictures may make ...

My First Bento Box Shop Experience
Just received my PM2 K390 and I got to say overall it was a very smooth transaction and the knife seems to be in perfect condition. I know before making my purchase, I was doing some research on the dealer and the knife itself and it seems like Bento Box gets reviews saying either they are awful or ...

Re: did somebody say magnacut manix...?!
I was able to grab one up from Knifehub, already have shipping confirmation too which was really fast. Now the next question is, when I go to dye it should I actually take the time to take it apart to do it or just treat it like a salt knife and dunk the entire thing still assembled...

Re: Gayle Bradley 2 Cru-Wear vs Gayle Bradley 2 M4
I have both. Prefer Cruwear a bit more over M4. However, I hate the jade handles which is why I have already taken mine apart and dyed them dark grey. Also, went ahead and adjusted my detent some to stiffen it up to my preference.

Re: A Gayle Bradley 2 in Cruwear!
Does someone know if there will be a unit limit per house ? Me and a couple of french spyder-addicts want to make a group order but the product page does not specify any limit. I had the same question and emailed BladeHQ about it, below is the response I was sent. Hope this helps! (Thank you for co...

Re: Tenacious M4 - released yet?
Can any one tell me if the Tenacious in M4 (C122GBNM4P) has been released yet? I was under the impression it was part of the 2023 new releases from the 2023 reveal, but it is not listed on the https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/category/new-product-reveal page and I have seen one listed in ebay, so I...

Re: Venting about Tanto PM2.. again.
I have noticed a couple time recently that BladeHQs website has been a bit glitchy with their exclusive models. Last night the site showed a bunch of their prior exclusives to be in stock; however, it would not let you add them to the cart. Not sure what was going on there.

Re: Knife trends you just don't understand?
This may be just me and I might be in the minority on this but I don't see the need to have to put a deep carry clip on every knife you own. Don't get me wrong, I will never complain when a company has them installed from the factory but some knives if the clip is mounted at its highest point with a...

Re: Knife trends you just don't understand?
I agree with the fidget stuff. I love the way the compression lock works and it brings me joy when I open and close it if I’m using my knife but to sit around and do that all day is weird. I’ve read comments in knife reviews where the most important aspect of a knife is “fidget factor.” I'm happy t...

Re: KnifeJoy Neon Green G-10 Manix2 in CPM-20CV
An even cheaper option if you don't like the bright green scales is to RIT dye them. I have taken apart a few Manix 2s and it wouldn't be that difficult to pop them off and hit them with a darker color.

Re: River's Edge Exclusive
I don't know if it's that people are not buying knives as much anymore or if dealers are ordering larger quantities of exclusives but its seems like in the past year that drops have been going a lot smoother and I'm all for it. No more having to get your order in within the first 5 minutes or site c...

You can go either way, I didn't take mine apart but I did remove the clip. Gave it a good rinse after I dyed it and I haven't run into any issues yet.

Re: Para 3 Lightweight CQI
Agreed that the Native 5 is an outstanding lightweight option. I have only ever purchased one Para 3 LW and it had a lot of play in the detent when you would go to open it. Almost like the detent hole was bigger than the ball or the ball might have been set back too far. I made numerous attempt to m...
