Wood scales manix 2?

#1

Post by Cash$ »

Got a g10 spyderco manix 2 for Christmas and want to put some real or faux wood scales on it.
Maybe in a darker wood like oak or something??

Does anyone have options?
I searched on Google and found one place but there scales are not what I want.

I also am a long time lurker here, figured I would end the year with making an account and joining in.

Welcome aboard Cash, Cuscadi out of Germany is a very popular and well respected custom scale maker, just google them. Also there are a number of talented craftsmen over on BF that I'm sure would be more than happy to help you out.
Happy to be part of this great forum and group of down to earth spyderco addicts, Thanks Sal and gang.

This is my XL version, but I'd imagine it'd look great on the Manix 2 aswell! :D

How do i get in touch with 'spketch' ? A very talented flute maker friend of mine made these thuja burl scales for my Tenacious, but he feels they take too much time out of his ordinary work to be interesting to make, he also felt he couldn't charge what they really should cost, so..

Btw, lovely scales on the Manix!

No idea to be honest, bought it from off of a fellow collector who couldn't remember.
Would love to know, but I'm glad I got it either way :D
Mint in box with the original scales :)
