Age of this Endura

OK, the pics aren't what I hoped for, but hopefully someone here can help anyway.

This was on my father-in-law's workbench. He had assumed it was just a cheapo knife because he received it as a give away. Just curious how old it might be, what with the molded clip

Difficult to be specific but while its hard to make out, I think its marked Aus-8 on the blade so I would say its going to be 15 years old or so.

Molded clip Endura's turn up quite often on Ebay apparently.

Endura came out in '90. Barrel bolt clip version replaced molded clip in '98. Wide clip would place yours in the later part of that era.

Good eyes! It is indeed Aus-8.

Thanks all for the help. Now I'll have to convince him to clean it up and keep it in a good spot.

If he thinks it's cheapo then it deserves a home where it will be appreciated. Offer to take it off his hands. Give away or not, quality speaks with a soft voice, not everyone is listening.
