Wow, I see that link I put on the BF's really helped out here, great! Seems to be off to a nice start.

I asked this before but my question got lost in all the shuffle of a previous post...

What are the replacment cost's for the new SpydeRench if I lost say the file or worse, one of the two sides. The bits are no problem.

Also what about the blade. Can I replace it in the future with a 50/50 edge or a full serration? Or would I have to send it in & if so at what cost?

Kindest Regards,

Hi Keith. Don't have those answers yet. Too new at the game with this tool. We make them in Golden, so I'm pretty sure we'll be able to do most anything and I'm sure we'll be fair.

I haven't lost any parts yet.

Overall, I really like it! One main thing it's missing is a wire cutter, Ive had to use my knife twice now to cut something I normally wouldnt have used it for, Ouch!

Its not as easy or as fast as some others to use. It will take turns with the Supertool,Wave & Swisstool. Ive also found the stubby plier's are a little hard to use for an all around do everything tool.

Its a pretty neat tool, Everyone who has seen me with it just has to have a look at it! Its fun to see how long it takes them to figure it all out. Which by the way...Is very easy.

I just got a SpydeRench, and it's insane...
one problem though. The little screw which provides tension on the bit was too loose when I got it...The bits just fall out, hardly ideal, especially when you have to use the screwdriver from above a screw. So I got a little screwdriver to put some more tension on it--and the little tiny screw immediately stripped. Is that size screw particularly difficult to find? I'd like to fix it myself by getting a new screw, maybe a tougher one, that I adjust easily for different bits. It would be great to know what size screw that is.
Just in case you didn't visualize what I'm talking about, I'll try to describe it again: there's a tiny screw on the socket which takes the bits...it sticks through to the inside and keeps the bits in place, ideally.

Keith - I find the implements on the Spydewrench a rather unique combination. I carry a blackened Gerber Multitool which served me well over the past 5 years Right now, I'm looking forward to add the Spydewrench to my toolbox
