Lolcats r0xx0rz! I spend more time at icanhascheeseburger.com than I ever did at chucknorrisfacts. The latest in the Walrus bucket saga:

I'm pretty sure the tradition of lolcats started on one of two forums that are closely tied, both highly inappropriate. Only lately have they become mainstream, but I believe there are a few images circulating that have been around for at least 2 years.

I'll share a few of my own.

Stupid.

I don't care for them because I can't imagine that the cats like being put in socks just purely for the entertainment of moron humans.

Yeesh, you make it sound like animal abuse. Poor cats are being terribly exploited, I'm sure their lifespans have been shortened due to stress. All kidding aside.

Whether you realize it or not, you just directly called over a billion people who find this humerous (including forum members), "morons".

No need for that, if you don't like it, no need to spoil the fun.

:spyder: This stuff is worse than "head of the class", windows comic sans serif, and Hugh Jackman combined. :spyder:

Does Michael Cook have anything to add to his provocative statements?

HEY! you already gave one insult in this thread, and thats the limit :D

I dont see what is so offense--none of the pictures show a cat in pain or danger, and chances are the cat got in position by itself. I don't know if you guys have ever owned a cat, but they are definitely capable of doing all that stuff pictured on their own.

Well, most likely, that is not the reason. This type of humor just doesn't appeal to them methinks...

you probably hit the nail on the proverbial head, my guess... ;)

i don't find these funny because it seems to take only a very low double-digit IQ to come up with this stuff, there's no wit whatsoever, IMHO. :D
