Swooped in on myself, after, reading all your swooping stories :p

Good thing I got that third bid in, just in time to stop myself from winning

By the way, how do you like my latest aquisition. I wanted to go "old school".

Very nice knife at a good price, congrats on your win. The ProGrip is a great knife if you're right handed. While that auction may qualify as "swooping", it wasn't "sniping". To qualify as that, you must bid only once, bid the max you are willing to pay, and place that bid in the last 30 seconds. What you did is what eBay regulars call "snibbling" - placing a low early bid, then raising it later. But, as long as you won, and had fun doing it, that's what's important, the rest is just theory and semantics.

Nice catch. PE Pro-Grips are not easy to find. Very good price too!
