Very nice knife at a good price, congrats on your win. The ProGrip is a great knife if you're right handed. While that auction may qualify as "swooping", it wasn't "sniping". To qualify as that, you must bid only once, bid the max you are willing to pay, and place that bid in the last 30 seconds. What you did is what eBay regulars call "snibbling" - placing a low early bid, then raising it later. But, as long as you won, and had fun doing it, that's what's important, the rest is just theory and semantics.
