BUMP!
...from the dead. Thanks for the link in a different thread. :)

Slick work, that scarlet looks classy. I like it a lot. Looks very cool when faded & juuuust a bit dirty, IMO.
Now if only I could find some low cost light grey PM2 scales, which I'm sure is damnn near impossible...
Wonder how my brown S35V scales would take to dye? Probably not well, maybe dark and muddy...
Going back to Caly.

Spencer, that para looks terrific. I love the homemade stonewash and the darker shade of red.

I definitely miss this para at times. Wish I didn't trade it. The guy I traded it to turned around and sold it on ebay for $400

haha I don't think I could pull that off! I tried giving my sage (sold) a stonewash and it looks half as good as the para and my chap 2 looks awful after the stonewash :o

For anyone whom is worried about the gray scales not to worry I have a black set I can trade if you'd like. Nice work by the way I dig the red especially after the second dying, red is one of those colours that looks better the more time you dye it similar to painting.

I'm also a huge fan of red as a scale color. I understand the safety issue with the Trainer models - but that appears to be a very specific shade of crimson/red.

Sal/Eric should look at releasing more burgundy/maroon/deep crimson scales. It is a really classy color - and if is a deep or dark enough color, it won't be confused with Trainers.

I agree. The burgundy Caly Jr was sharp looking. Wish I had one.
