Anyone have the bifold yet?
Basically what the title implies, does anyone have one yet? How do you like it? Any pics would be appreciated as well.
I haven't had the time for a closer view as cutting tool; for the moment it's a nice, new toy. But I'm able to serve you with pictures :)

I want to know how far up the 440c goes. The knife is a powder cast (steel and plastic polymer combination pressed and heated to form the handle) material according to the documentation. But the blade states it's 440 steel. How much of the blade is 440? How many times can I sharpen it before I start hurting the casting itself?

I think you may be misreading, or misinterpreting the documentation. The way I understand it the powdered metal, in this case 440C, is mixed with plastic, so it can be injected into the mold. Then, at some point in the MIM process, the plastic disappears and only the steel is left. The blade of the S was made the same way. Bottom line, you can sharpen until you hit the cutouts. :eek:TexSierra wrote:I want to know how far up the 440c goes.
